DIARY 13

Today we finished everything we needed to do. After finishing the blog yesterday, today we have focused on the realization of the report, the infographic and presentation.  At the beginning we didn't really know what we had to put in each place, but little by little we have been doing it.

Videos and audiovisual resources This tool helps us to increase the motivation and interest of the students in the activity as they feel more connected to the topic to be discussed. How is it used in our learning situation? Videos are used at various times during the learning situation to better contextualize the activity or content. - Session 1: We use it to help children better understand what the European Commission is and what its functions are. - Session 3: The video serves as a foundation upon which children will build their understanding of climate change and its consequences. - Session 5: In the same way as in the other classes, we use it as a dynamic resource in explaining what a habitat is and its characteristics. Learning situation (FINAL)

Today we settled the justification and the learning situation of our didactic unit: Life on our planet is a didactic unit through which children must be able to identify and internalize the different elements that make up ecosystems, their characteristics, the animals that constitute it and its main characteristics, fauna and flora, the role of the human being in the ecosystem, etc.  On the other hand, we will also work on the basic needs of living beings and the difference between living and inert objects. This didactic unit will have a duration of  seven hours, 1 hour per lesson,  we will work the contents previously proposed with activities and didactic material to get the objectives and ensure that students develop the skills and abilities at the end of the didactic unit.   Referring to evaluation, will be carried out progressively through observation and instruments that will allow monitoring of student learning.    This is the justification of our did...

That's why the children will be informed that they have completed all the tasks assigned by the European Commission and that the final challenge will be set by the citizens. DIARY DAY 12

 In today's meeting we have remade the session nuember six and seven.  In the session number 6, we have expanded the information as we have been doing for the past ones. We have added the message of the European Comission too so that children can understand better the purpose of the activity. Besides, we have add an image of the map the kids will need to follow in order to reach the QR and a rubric for further evaluation.  In session number 7, we have enhanced the class similarly to the previous session. We included instructions on how to operate the Bee-Boots, along with additional messages and information. We have also incorporated a final detail, which involves presenting children with a diploma to formally conclude the learning situation. SESSION 6 - Living or inert beings? Today's class will consist of answering different questions in groups using QRs that will be distributed around the courtyard.  Message from European Commission: "Good morning! DIARY DAY 11

This morning, we gathered to work on the development of lessons 4 and 5.  Yesterday, we made the decision to divide lesson 3 into two parts, resulting in the addition of one more class to the instructional unit. Consequently, the lesson 4 we worked on today is considered as the continuation of the second part of lesson 3. In the lesson 5, we have added an evaluation and we have explained in depth the activity so it is more specified.

Session 4 - Actions against the climate change Today's class will be mostly devoted to video recording. Message from the European Commission: "Hello boys and girls, do you remember the script you started in the previous class? Well, we are going to translate it into a video. How are we going to do it? In groups, you will record yourselves explaining the ideas you thought of. Then, you will upload those videos to a video forum so that the rest of your classmates can see them. But, in addition, from the European Commission we will also see them and use them to raise awareness among the rest of the people."
