DIARY DAY 7

Today in the morning we completed the introduction and timing of lesson 6.  Once the lessons are finished, we have started with the report. However, we are having some problems because we are not sure how to do it. Therefore, we look forward to hearing from you regarding the question we have sent you by e-mail.

DIARY DAY 6

Today we have met again in the evening and while we have finished the fourth session, the third one has been exposed to changes for its improvement. Besides, we have started to create the fifth and sixth session.  We have also struggled with the creation of a QR. Finally, we have solve it by finding anotehr option REMEMBER TO REVISE! [We have revise the questions in bold that are located after the introduction of ecah lesson.]

SESSION 6: Living or inert beings?

 SESSION 6 - Living or inert beings? In this session, the European Commission met to investigate a new issue. For this session, the children will  learn to distinguish and classify living and inert beings. They have to answer the following question:  What do inert beings contribute to living beings? The  objectives  to work on this session are:    - 2.3 Distinguish and know the natural environment.    -3.2 Differentiate between living and inert beings.    -3.3 Know the need of living beings. This session will last one hour. In the first 10-15 minutes, the activity will be explained. Then, children will form groups of 4 students and they will find the QR codes and answer the questions.  ACTIVITY Once the teacher has explained to students the activity and has divided them into groups for 10-15 minutes, they will start. We have started lesson 4. As we think that the type of activities are very repetitive, we have decided to change the activities proposed in the original learning situation.     

SESSION 5: Each animal in its place

  SESSION 5 - Each animal in its place T he children are placed in the European Commission, they want to divide the animals into the different habitats, and to do this they asks the children for help. To do this, the following question will be answered:  What are the key elements that influence the specific habitats where different animals thrive? The objectives to work on this session are:     -  2.1. Classify animals according to their natural habitat.      - 2.2. Identify the different types of animals and their characteristics.      - 2.3.  Distinguish and understand different habitats. DIARY DAY 3

In today's class, we have started to modify the first, second and third class. Besides, we all have joined together in the evening so that we can improve, complete and share ideas in common. Thanks to this meeting, we have made a great advance in our blog. 

SESSION 1 AND 2: Classification of animals

  SESSION 1 and 2- Classification of animals In this session, the European Commission will meet to investigate and resolve the following question: What differences do we find between the five families of animals? The objectives to work on in this session are:      - 2.1. Classify animals according to their natural habitat.       - 2.2. Identify the different types of animals and their characteristics.  The estimated time of the session will be approximately 2 session. SESSION 3- Actions against climate change In this case,  an activity will be carried out so that the children become aware of the contributions that they also can make to contribute to the improvement of climate change. For this session,  the European Commission will meet to answer the following question:  Why has climate change increased in recent years? What intervention measures do you propose to reduce the problem? The objectives to work on in this session are:      - 1.1 Implement norms of citizen coexistence.      -  1.2 Become aware of climate change, its importance and impact on society.      - 1.3 Know the role of human beings and the environment. This third session will last 2 hours.  In the first hour, the teacher will provide resources and materials so that students can work with the information what is found in these materials. Learning situation

  Today we settled the justification and the learning situation of our didactic unit: Life on our planet is a didactic unit through which children must be able to identify and internalize the different elements that make up ecosystems, their characteristics, the animals that constitute it and its main characteristics, fauna and flora, the role of the human being in the ecosystem, etc.   On the other hand, we will also work on the basic needs of living beings and the difference between living and inert objects.   This didactic unit will have a duration of   two weeks and we will work the contents previously proposed with activities and didactic material to get the objectives and ensure that students develop the skills and abilities at the end of the didactic unit.     Referring to evaluation, will be carried out progressively through observation and instruments that will allow monitoring of student learning.  

DIARY DAY 2

 On this day, the group propouse to organize all the contents and what thinks will do each one of the group. At the final of the class we didn't be confident exactly of what and how to do the things. Then we decided to speak with the teaxcher in the next class to stablish all the contents.
