 SESSION 5 - Each animal in its place

The children are placed in the European Commission, they want to divide the animals into the different habitats, and to do this they asks the children for help. To do this, the following question will be answered: What are the key elements that influence the specific habitats where different animals thrive?

The objectives to work on this session are:

    - 2.1. Classify animals according to their natural habitat. 

    - 2.2. Identify the different types of animals and their characteristics. 

    - 2.3. Distinguish and understand different habitats.

This activity will take place in one hourIn the first 15 minutes the teacher will explain what the activity consists of. Afterwards, the groups will rotate through the different activities

ACTIVITY

To begin, the teacher will explain the main characteristics about the diversity of animals and habitats and the importance of understanding where animals live and how they adapt to their environments . The class will be divided into 3 groups so that all students can work on the different proposed activities. So that everyone has the same opportunity, it will rotate every 15 minutes.

Whole-group instruction (15 minutes): The teacher will explain the contents related with habitats where animals lives, their characteristics and how to distinguish them.
